Samantha M. Swanson, Esq.

Samantha M. Swanson, Associate with Adams, Ferrone & Ferrone, specializes in the representation of Public Safety personnel in every facet of the firm’s practice, including labor, disciplinary and employment matters.  A large part of her practice is also dedicated to defending and representing officers in civil rights proceedings.  A highly sought advocate, she is known for her aggressive, no-nonsense approach to protecting her client’s interests.    

Prior to joining the firm and expanding her practice, Samantha defended peace officers and their agencies in civil rights litigation as an associate at a well-regarded law firm also specializing in peace officer defense.  There, she handled all aspects of litigation, including Pitchess motions, municipal liability and administrative hearings.  During her tenure at her previous firm, she had the opportunity to perform research and assisted with the drafting of Lexipol policies, a self-proclaimed best practices for law enforcement agencies, and has also attended POST training.

Samantha graduated from California State University of Long Beach and received her law degree from Western State University College of Law.  During law school she was a Dean’s Circle member, WSU Merit Scholarship recipient and Witkin Award recipient.  She interned for Community Lawyers in Compton in 2010 and at a personal injury law firm in 2012.  She is a member of the California Bar, United States Central District of California, and United States Northern District of California.
